The International Mystery Writers Festival receives hundreds of submissions from around the world each year. For 2012, Absolutely Dead was chosen as the First Place winner and as such, it will be featured as the centerpiece of this prestigious festival. The play will receive its World Premier production in the beautiful, 1,500-seat Cannon Hall 1500 Seats at the 2012 International Mystery Writers FestivalCannon Hall at RiverPark Center in Owensboro, Kentucky. Speaking of the festival, writer/director Lee Goldberg, says "There is nothing like Owensboro's mystery festival anywhere else in the U. S., which is why it attracts some of the biggest names in books, television and the stage. The festival's success discovering, and producing, one Edgar Award-winning play after another isn't just astounding, it's unprecedented."
