Sarah CoreySARAH COREY (Maria) loves new musicals and new plays and Shakespeare. Off-Broadway: Maria in Illyria. Selected Regional Favorites: Sarah in Beau Jest, Olivia in Twelfth Night, Hermia in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Eva Peron in Evita, Birgit in One Golden Moment, Anisah in In the Book Of, Kate in Lippa's The Wild Party (IRNE Award, Best Supporting Actress), Rose in Caroline, or Change, both female tracks in I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, Vicki in A Grand Night for Singing, Maria in Cole Porter's You Never Know, Patty Andrews in Sisters of Swing, Eleanor Widener in Titanic, Jane/Mrs. Van Norman in The IT Girl, and the Acid Queen in Tommy. She is a graduate of the Shakespeare & Company Conservatory for Classical Acting, and of Princeton University.

Joe GiocoJOE GIOCO (Angelo) played Doc in the Olivier Award nominated production of West Side Story at Sadler's Wells, London in 2008. He appeared on Broadway in Inherit The Wind (with George C. Scott and Charles Durning) and received critical acclaim as Laz in The Working Theatre's production of Abundance at DTW. This spring he played Dutch and the Contractor in The Great Divide at Metropolitan Playhouse. Other NYC roles include Gin Rummy in Jean Claude van Itallie's Fear Itself; Ron in Arthur Murray Taught Me Dancing in a Hurry; Fingers in Geography of a Horse Dreamer; Capt. Taylor in A Soldier's Play; Teach in American Buffalo and Clov in Endgame. In 2009 he created the role of Bobby in Ellen Rusconi's First Meeting. Film: Goodfellas, Flodder in Amerika, Breaking Point and The Region of Unlikeness. TV: The Equalizer, Another World, Ghost Stories and Onion Sports Dome. AEA, SAG, AFTRA. He is married to actress Laralu Smith.

Cathy PrinceCATHY PRINCE (Dani) Is beyond thrilled to be a part of Fringe Fest 2011, and especially "Dancing in the Garden". A huge thanks to Bruce, Michael, and the whole cast and creative team of this show, it has truly been an honor. Cathy hails from Cleveland, OH, where she attended Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory of Music and gained a Bachelor Degree in Music Theatre. Credits include: NYMF 2009 Lighter, I Love you Because, Macbeth, Into the Woods, Brooklyn: the Musical, A Midsummer Nights Dream, among others. A proud member of AEA, Cathy would like to dedicate this performance to Lindsay and Sebouh for letting her miss their wedding! Love to my parents, sister and my wonderfully supportive boyfriend, Ed.

Judith Knight YoungJUDITH KNIGHT YOUNG (Rosa) has performed in Wash., DC at Ford's Theatre in "To Kill A Mockingbird" (Maudie Atkinson); in "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" (Big Mama) at Keegan Theatre, and Arena Stage (understudy); "Lost in Yonkers" (Grandma Kurnitz); "Our Town" (Julia Gibbs); "Marvin's Room" (Aunt Ruth), among many others, in other DC area theatres. In NY, she portrayed Mama Lilly in "Hank Williams: Lost Highway" at the Depot Theatre and the Lake Placid CFA. Principal film credits include Sydney Pollack's "Random Hearts" (solo scene with Harrison Ford); John Waters' "Pecker" and "Cecil B. DeMented"; Barry Levinson's "Liberty Heights"; and indie films "Harold" and "Silver Tongues" (Audience Award for Best Feature Film at Slamdance). TV roles include Alice Kingsley in "Homicide: Life on the Street" and Susan Rescorla in the History Channel's "Countdown to Ground Zero". Judith is a proud member of AEA and SAG, and wishes to thank Dan, Andrew, Adam, and all of her family for their love and support.

PAULA T. ALEKSON (Dramaturg) is a playwright and dramaturg who teaches playwriting through McCarter Theatre Education Department's Youth Ink! Program, which she also directs. Prior to McCarter she taught in the Department of Theatre Arts at Mount Holyoke College, her alma mater. Paula received her MFA in Playwriting from Brandeis University and PhD in Drama from Tufts University. She is a contributing author to James Fisher's Tony Kushner: New Essays on the Art and Politics of the Plays (McFarland, 2006) and dramaturg and director of Sarah Elizabeth Greer's Bio-Hazard: A Relative Comedy which will be presented in Nantucket and New York City in the fall. Paula's short play The Breakthrough was presented at Passage Theatre's (Trenton, NJ) 10-Minute Play Festival in 2010. She is a member of the Dramatists Guild and the Passage Theatre Playwrights' Lab.

Bruce WardBRUCE WARD (Director) is a NYC director, writer, actor and teacher. As director, Bruce has worked with Boston Playwrights Theater, Speakeasy Stage Company, Syzygy Productions, Royal Caribbean Cruiselines and Amerikids. As an actor, he has performed internationally in theater, film and television, including several appearances in the Law and Order franchise. His play Lazarus Syndrome opened the 2007/2008 season at Theater Alliance in Washington, D.C., and was the recipient of the 2007 2nd place VSA arts/Jean Kennedy Smith award, presented at the Kennedy Center. Bruce has performed his solo show, Decade, across the U.S., including: the very first NYC International Fringe Festival, Three of his ten-minute plays have been produced by the Boston Theater Marathon, and have been published in anthologies by Bakers Plays. He is a member of Actors Equity Association, Screen Actors Guild and the Dramatists Guild, and has twice been a Fellow at the Virginia Center for Creative Arts. He has an M.A. in Creative Writing/Playwriting from Boston University, and an M.F.A. from the New School's Creative Writing/Creative Nonfiction program in NYC. Website: brucewardnyc.com.
